Douglas Lwanga is calling out Ugandan youths for their reckless use of government funding, and we can’t say we blame him. It seems like some young people are more interested in living large than actually using the funds for their intended purpose. Lwanga claims that the lack of accountability and supervision is to blame, and we can’t help but agree. We mean, who needs to start a business or pursue an education when you can just blow it all on fancy cars and designer clothes? It’s time for Ugandan youths to get their priorities straight and start using these funds for the greater good. Anything less would be a waste of taxpayer money – and a slap in the face to those who actually need it.
